Mint Theater Company
The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Mint Theater Company (Jonathan Bank, Artistic Director) is now in its eleventh season of bringing new vitality to worthy but neglected plays. Hailed as “that truffle hound of half-buried treasures from the past” (Village Voice), the Mint has a firmly established reputation for re-discovering worthy but neglected gems such as Granville Barker’s The Voysey Inheritance and most recently, Rutherford & Son.
Last spring the Mint was awarded an Obie grant for “combining the excitement of discovery with the richness of tradition.”
